New app for vehicle, driver-related services

All vehicle and driver-related services may soon become available on a common portal. The Minister of State for Road Transport and Highways, P Radhakrishnan, informed the Lok Sabha today that the new transport application would be launched on a common portal which would provide a unified access to vehicle and driver-related services. This is according to an official release.

AAI works plan to build air cargo complex at Pune

Airports Authority of India (AAI) is working on a plan to set up a new domestic and international cargo complex at the Pune airport. In a letter to Environment Minister Prakash Javadekar, who hails from Pune, Civil Aviation Minister Ashok Gajapathi Raju said an area measuring 2213 square meters was provided for construction of domestic and international air cargo terminal with the threshold area of 1000 sqm each.
